So, Dale, Jr. is leaving DEI. Where will he end up? He was vey humble about who will want him and wanting to stay with Chevy. He wants to go somewhere he can win races and championships.

So, should Casey Mears start getting his resume together? Or will there be a #3 Bud car next year?

I think he'll end up with Hendrick.

What do you think.

Hi Kenny

Dale jr is the name sake of DEI. They should have given him the keys to the realm. The idea of Jr driving for anyone else is just wrong. He is a proven product. Give him what he and his crew needs and they can win races.
I was a fan of his Daddy from when the only cars I could drive were made by Matchbox. With that in mind, I say Its a crying shame that his stepmother would let him go. As far as where he goes. It don't really matter.

Family Feud meets NASCAR.

Strike---- everybody else goes on strike---- boycott---- everybody else boycotts..... build hypothetical Jr. Dale cars---- choose your own team.

As for #3---- depends who has the rights to use it--- Jr. or DEI.

Court battle coming up.

hey,
tuff call,i recall hearing that the step mom ,did have a big part with the marketing of DEI and Dale Sr. when he was alive, and helped build DEI to what it is,and i believe i heard over the weekend, that Jr.was being paid 20 million a year?1 million more than Jeff Gordon, and Jr's only won 2 races over the last couple years,on that note ,personally,i thought they never should have never brought Michaell Waltrip on board .Whats done, is done,i know #8 is owned by DEI,now does BUD,stay with DEI or follow Jr.?if they follow Jr.i think he should do it on his own,his way.

Chanses are Bud's going with. They stated that they have an Agreement with Jr. to represent them thru the 2008 season..... (and it's reported they had an "out" in the contract w/ DEI)
