Here's to our wives, husbands, significant others, and kids who put up with our obsessions, uh hobbies.
My wife was the one who turned me onto Hobby Lobby's semi annual half price sales. She also goes out of her way to find things for me to use in my modeling. Today is my birthday. I knew I could rely on my daughters to contribute a model or two to my unbuilt collection. Sure enough a Tamiya Panther to tow behind my Dragon Wagon was waiting for me when I got up. (Of course I had to leave a few pictures of it lying around the house as hints.)
Don't get me wrong; I get my share of rolling eyes, shaking heads, and muttered "another model?" as anybody else. Still they also come through with the goodies so I'll keep them.

Happy Birthday Rodger!
You are so right about the support of our SO's. My wife has never said a bad word about my hobby. In fact, she was in my modelling room a while back trying to figure out how to fit in more shelves for my stash. :-)

Happy B-day Roger. And, yes my wife is pretty understanding too. Hey, it's either me building models at home or going out drinking every night. Hmm...Beer...

Happy birthday Rodger. You guys be grateful for your good SO's. My wife called my models 'toys' and said I needed to grow up. Just one of the many reasons I now call her my ex-wife.

I get a lot of heat from my friends at school about my "planes" When I missed a week of school becuase I was sick, the rumor was spread that I got a new airplane and that I was home for a week working on it. I can honestly say that some of the guys at school think that it is dorky, but I would rather spend twenty dollars on a model than on bag of dope!
Happy B-day!

Belated happy birthday I haven't gotten a model for my Birthday since I was 14. I did get an airbrush for Christmas when I was 21.
