I married a woman with three kids. Three more kids later and I realized I've spent over one third of my life married. How time flies.

Congratulations Robin. Was this your first marriage? That takes guts. I married my wife who had a young daughter from a previous marriage, but I'd have had a hard time taking on a wife and THREE kids. That just shows what a great guy you must be, very few men would do that.

February marked 18 years married and 22 years together. That's closing in on 1/2 of my life. We have 5 kids together. Whenever I tell people I have 5 kids I usually get, "With the Same wife?" in response.
I'm also closing in on 23 years at the PD. Wihch means I have done my job for half my life as well - Funny, I don't remember greaking that many mirors....

Yes, Rodger, my first and only marriage. Thanks, I was just amazed at how long it has been. I've been the only dad her first three kids ever knew. They were 6, 3, and 2 when we married and are now 21, 18 and 17. One is out of the house, the middle one starts college in the fall and the younger one will start his senior year of high school in the fall.

By my next assignment, all three should be out of the house!

22 years ago I married by one and only wife she is a few years older, and had four kids. There are no words to discribe going from single to having two teen age girls. Four grand kids later I still wouldn't trade one minute for being single again.

Not for quite some time. The three youngest we had together are 13, 10 and 2. I will be going to school functions for the next 20 years.

No, she is doing scrap booking and is a key figure in the Ft. Knox middle school cheerleading squads.

First, belated Happy Anniversary Rob! You're a good man to take on a ready made family. Most men would run, as fast as they could, in the opposite direction.

Second, you guys are all light weights! It's been 33 years for me and I'm "only" 52. That's right, married to the same little cutie since I was 19 years old! And they said it wouldn't last1
