Has that ever inspired you to build a certain model or diorama?

Yes, I finally managed to get the Azimut figures of Colonel Klink and Sergeant Schulz. (It's one thing Azimut does right.) I'm not quite sure what scenario to depict yet, though.

Yes. The very first model I made after getting back into the hobby after 25+ years was the M3 Lee Lulubell from the Bogart film Sahara.

I also have the Oddball Tank Crew to do Oddball's Sherman from Kelly's Heroes.

I have several dio or model ideas based on movies that I want to build some day.

First real diorama I ever built was a scene from "When trumpets fade". It was a horrible dio, I still have it, but I stashed it on top of a book case, hoping that it wont embarass me when i go to look at it again in a year or so.

I have one scene from a movie called "A time to love, and a time to die" that I want to do, involving the hero of the movie as he is shot by Russian partisans, that keeps bouncing around in my head. Maybe one of these days I'll make it.

I have to admit, I love the video game "Twisted Metal" because it has all sorts of T2K style cars. I role play with Rifts too and my Techno-Wizard has built a 76 Buick Century that I've reproduced in 1/32.

So, yeah. I guess so.

The movie, The Beast, inspired me to build my first T-55 kit, the old Lindberg one circa 1990-92 or so.
