It's great to have you here Davhowell! Welcome aboard our favorite place outside the workbench.

Those are some mighty fine looking models you've got there. Alot better than mine when I was your age. Keep on building em. Ask a million questions, and build more.
Smileys are cool :-)

Ola Davy

Great to have you on board. Another youngster great job. I`ve seen your models and what can I say.... they are looking very good. Really I wish my first attempts came out that good.
Anyway just ask what you want to know, There are really a big amount of people that are willing to answer any question you have.

Oh and a 3D modeler too that`s cool. I do 3D models for my job and I can tell you that it`s really great. What kind of programs do you use??? have you got any renders of what you made.

Any way really cool that you joined us you will have a good time here and I`m sure you will learn a lot ( at least that`s what I did)

Also About 3d Modelling i use Milkshape 3d I Have one pic of one of my best models and last Its of a Russian AK47 Shorty I Made it using Poly by Poly Technique its about 1200 polys or somewhere near that. It Took me I believe about 4 days Considering it was my First Poly by Poly Model.

What program do you use and Also whats your job like? Im Interested in Continuing Modelling and one day getting a job at a Computer Game Company.

Davy

Cool Ak47 one of me favourites

I mainly use the programs 3d studio Max 5 and lightwave 7.5 and sometimes Maya.
What my job is like??? very versatile I can say. I have to built almost everything. I have built a complete drilling installation together with a collegue. I have made U boats, tanks, a complete jeep, a 17 century ship cannon, a rowing boat, some architectural structures like buildings for architects and go on really a cool job and I`m only still a student :-)

No we are not....because we were also young and inexperienced, we know it feel, and back in our days, we ain't got much help, NO INTERNET YET, WHEN WE SAID MAIL, WE ACTUALLY USE STAMPS.... hehe

But now young modellers are so lucky, but your work shows a lot of potential.
