I just read at Scalelink UK that the cost of resin and white metal has/will be increasing by up to 35%.
Any idea why?

Ask such question and 99.9 % the manufacturer will say it's because the Chinese demand is so high ...
and no, nobody would increse prices to maximize the profit....
I know an example with PE ... you cannot imagine how high the margin is ... of course you have to consider that every trader in the chain doubles the price .. but still ...
just my 2 Euro ct.

I haven't noticed much of a change in the price of the "component" resin..... Maybe with "Oil" going up yet again.........
