I was wodering how good this magazine is. It is the one put out by the U.S. Army. I saw I can get it on Amazon.com for about $33 a year. Also, does anyone know if you can get it anyware other than amazon.com if you are not in the Army?

Andrew:
Armor is the professional journal of the U.S. Army Armor branch and is of limited use to modelers. You can get an idea of what to expect at the magazine's home page: http://knox-www.army.mil/center/ocoa/ArmorMag/
The mag's staff artist, Jody Harmon, is outstanding, and prints of some of his stuff are sold at the Patton Museum at Fort Knox (also home of Armor magazine). Armor's historical articles are normally pretty good, but most of the magazine deals with tactics and doctrine -- pretty dry stuff.

I agree with Hollowpoint... Armor magazine is more tactics and C&C oriented; it's put out by TRADOC at Ft. Knox and the only thing I like about it are the drawings by Jody Harmon... Pretty much useless as far as modeling reference material goes, you'd be best to save your money and look into the books put out by Squadron/Osprey/New Vanguard for the good stuff.
