Ok, it's almost necessary a forum has one of these every now and then, and they're too much fun to not do one...

So here goes! What is your favorite music? Or more specifically, what do you like to listen too, especially maybe while building?

My favorite band is Pink Floyd, I really love everything ever done by them, including the later Gilmour lead albums. Aside from them I love to listen to other phsychodealia bands of the late 60's. Recently though I've been listening to alot of Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan. I love a good acoustic guitar song.

Oke, a total oppposite taste of music Developed my music taste in the nineties so I like the early style 90's dance classics. Like 2 unlimited, 2 brothers on the 4th floor, Dr. Alban,CB Milton etc etc.

Recently I "discovered" the Dire Straits and I really like Brothers in Arms. What a passionate song, it really makes me come to myself....

I listen to everything form Black Sabbath to Beethoven. But when I’m at the workbench I prefer silence. I just get too caught up in my work to hear anything including my wife!!!

Most anything except rap! I've got an eclectic collection on the computer, from The Who, to The Kingston Trio. Mostly rock though.

Can pretty much listen to almost everything...... But I prefer to 99.9% to listen to:

50's and 60's Rock n Roll, the Proper one not todays
Surf music like Dick Dale etc...
Instrumental like Ventures, Shadows etc....
Blues...
But most of all, real good greasy ROCKABILLY!
Give me retro Ford '32 five window with a 392 Hemi or a '49 Mercury kustom with flamethrowers and some heavy rockabilly pouring out from the speakers and todays boyracers can go and themselfs.....he he he!

Kind of an eclectic mix. Right now in the changer is: Moody Blues, Rammstein, Warren Zevon, The Who(Tommy), Eddie and the Cruisers, and Fleetwood Mac. Probably switch this weekend and go with Jethro Tull, The Chieftans, Mike Oldfield(Tubular Bells) plus who knows.....

Metal mainly, Korn, Metallica, Papa Roach, Seether, Mushroomhead, Ill Niño, Lacuna Coil, System of a Down etc etc.
Also in my more adult moments a good bit of classical music. My 2 favorites being the 1812 Overture and Beethoven's 5th .

I usually have the radio tuned to the local classic rock station. Sunday nites at 10pm they do old radio shows like 'The Shadow", 'The Whistler' along with a selection of other shows.
Problem is when I'm working sometimes, I miss most of the show.

I listen to a wide select of music - from 60's to current - nothing will not be listened to, however i tend to gravitate towards 70's prog rock - Yes, Genesis, the floyd, Emerson Lake and Palmer, or a bit of Folk Rock - Jethro Tull, Fairport Convention Steeleye span etc.

Fave Music to paint by is Pink Floyd - especially Echoes from the Meddle Album.

I listen to almost anything but Rock and Metal is where I spend most of my time. Metallica, Corrosion of Conformity, Machine Head, KoRn, AC/DC etc with a bit of Gomez & Pink Floyd thrown in. Then on the other side is my addiction to random stuff like Pendulem, Squarepusher, Chemical brothers among others.
Last night whilst weathering Supermarines finest I had Roni Size-in the mode on the mp3
