Just three weeks to Wings & Wheels Modelers’ Valleycon 17 in Chicopee MA, on 25 March 2007, New England’s largest local contest.
This year, we again feature open judging in figures, (stock and converted classes) vignettes and dioramas, miscellaneous and collections as well as the junior categories. In all, there are 34 regular classes and numerous special awards including best display, most challenging aircraft paint scheme, best Chevy, and best North American military figure. The very well lit display area has raised tables for ease in viewing and to keep inquisitive young hands at a distance.
We will, of course, have our huge raffle.
We already have more than 30 vendor tables reserved, with room for more.
The site provides hot food for lunch.
For more information rules and directions, please visit our web site or e-mail me at [email protected].
Hope to meet a lot of you there.

I will be there. Probably just as a spectator seeing that I haven't touched models in several months but still... This is a good show to attend and short drive for me

See you Sunday, Al !

Did the vendor layout yesterday. Right now, we have 31 vendor tables plus the club tables. The weatehr looks promising...50's and mostly sunny. Graet day for a contest.

Well, my trip to Valleycon is questionable. My daughter came back from school sick today. From the symptoms it looks like it may the flu. Since SWMBO has to work this weekend I will be the one looking out after my kid. If she is still sick on Sunday, the trip will be canceled.

This will be a real bummer since I only go to 2-3 model shows any given year and Valleycon is one of my favorites. I know you can't predict certain things but man the timing sucks.

Thanks Al. My daughter actually said she still wanted to go to the show regardless of how she feels on Sunday. She knows that it is important for me to go so she putting on a brave face. Very sweet. I guess ultimately it will be up to her whether we go or not. She is old enough to decide if she is up to it.

We'll see...

I will attend. I have a kit I would like to donate (not my area of interest). How late can I bring it to be of value?

Sorry I had to miss this one, work and working on the new workshop have really gotten in the way of everything lately. I've always enjoyed going out to your show Al.
