Any one got a backdrop for my diorama.
A countryside one would be nice.
If any one can help it would be much appreciated.

If you want a physical poster type you need to look at Rail Road web sites. They make them for layouts.

What a lot of people do (me included) is to use photoshop to combine a photo of the diorama and a background taken or found on the web.

David,
Even if you have a slow PC, there are still many pieces of graphics software available that you may find for free either on the web or often given away on magazine discs. It will obviously depend on the power of your PC and operating system, but unless you are running an old 486 and windows 3.1, you will find something that will fit the bill.

I found the backdrop below on the web doing a search for Adironodack pictures, IIRC. I simply downloaded it and and printed it in high resolution colr. This is not a merged image but one shot. It's taped to a styrofaom box and I stand it up with the figure in front of it. This is on my work desk so I use my desk lamps to control or eliminate shadows. From there, it goes into a simple photo editing to crop the image. Chances are, if you have a digital camera, you have adequate software to crop an image, even a 486 with q 66 mhz processor can do that.

David,

You can also look around for old calenders with scenery....they
work very well too.

Cheers,

If you want a good source for on-line backgrounds, try CORBIS, they have tons of stuff.
