“Ode to the Sty”

From out of the Internet these animals came
Squealing and rutting, a herd quite untamed.
Individual’s all, each truly alone,
Sharing one goal, “Find a cyberspace home”.
Searching and searching, what site did they find?
Armorama.com, a website site so fine.
Who are these animals that come from afar?
Where do they come from, this bunch so bizarre?
From Hong Kong, the Philippines, Fridley, and more,
Canadians, American’s and Aussies galore.
Sharing a bond, that gleam in the eye,
Time to herd up people---“It’s the Birth of “The Sty”!
Lord Pakish and Davidus certainly did not know,
That quickly over time the Herd would quickly grow.
They gathered the Sushi’s, and Jeepsters, the Modelnuts and more,
Pigs from everywhere, piglets galore.
An irresistible force the Sty has become,
Destroying the Fluvians, and fearing no one.
Wallowing and rutting and stinking their way,
It’s a pretty safe bet, the Sty’s here to stay!

You my friend are truely the William Sheakeswine of the herd. Not only can you take a word and glean from it all it has to offer but you rhyme too! Ah..to rut or not to rut..that is the question...Whether or not it is nobler in mind and spirit to suffer the wolves and Fluvians of Swinely existance. Ye though I speaketh of softeth glowing lighteth. I knoweth not why those oldtimers putteth eth on the endeth of everything..eth!? A sty by any other name would stink as sweet. a penny here and a penny there and...you've got two lousey cents. Goodbye cruel world...parting is such a pain in the butt...and on and on it goes sweetly into the night! Whadda ya think about that?????? Jeff

BRAVO!

I knew you were pretty good with a model, but I had no idea we had a poet laureate in the sty.

Nice poem ! Really hand-tailored for armorama. You deserve a prize for that. You know what ? No matter what happens around here : if times turn tough, you'll be the very last piglet I'll eat. Only joking. Nice work.

There once was a piggy from niger
that smiled when it rode on a tiger
They returned from the ride
with the piglet inside
and the smile on the face of the tiger.

There was a Pigy , who wants to fly ,
First she join to our sty ,
"BAND OF BACON" was name of the group ,
Love to build the Panzer troop ,
Every Pigy has a number ,
Every fights like a thunder ,
Every have a modeler heart,
Always build a piece of art

Tomcat14...I love Poland, man! That poem of yours has brought a tear to my eye and caused a lump in my throat, although i think the lump is a result of the braunschweiger I just ate. Never-the-less. I...Bodeen... have decided to try my hand at POETRY!!!!!!! It goes as follows:
I think that I shall never see
A sty this lovely on tv
At Armorama Pigs now have a home
Join Der Sonntag Bund... no more need to roam
pigs of all colors and countries are found in here
Big Bad Wolves and Fluvians
Even a herd of steer(c'mon I had to make it rhyme)
The sound of Joyful squealing oinks and snorts
some pig sitting at the keyboard in his shorts (not me of course)
It doesn't matter if you're popular or rich... outside
in here you're with family..
You're part of the Sty! (Unless of course you are a Big Bad Wolf or Fluvian. Then you are part of something completely sinister and were going to have to liquidate you like a mattress at a President's Day Sale)
This poem in no way represents the opinions or views of the management of this station or it's sponsors or official agents. For copies of this poem:send a self abused stopmed antelope to Armorama.com c/o Der Sonntag Bund Keyword:Dumbpoem

The Charge of the Pig Brigade

A distant rumbling, a steady sounding beat,
The echoes of dozens of tiny cloved footed feet.
Closer and closer comes this deafening roar,
It’s the charge of the Sty, the Pig’s are at war!
First snorts, then squeals, now bellows of delight,
The Piglets versus the Fluvians, in a heck of a fight.
Fluvians to the left of them, and Fluvians to the right
Never have the pigs seen such a horrible sight.
But these Pigs are fearless, and their empty tummies ROAR,
And the Fluvians flee in panic – fear - and shear horror.
Chomping and chewing the Pigs mow them down,
Until on this battlefield there’s not a single sound.
The Pig’s are victorious, but little do they know,
A lone Wolf is watching, from a den far below.
These Pigs are impressive thinks this Wolf in his fear,
I better not cross them, if I hold my life dear.
So he slinks off to Belgium, there’s nothing he can do,
The Sty rules the world, the Wolf is “old news”.
