hey folks,

Thought i would jump ship here on Armorama since im here in Singapore for a holiday.

Just visited the model shop in Vivo and have to stay....damn you guys get cheap models!!!

Kits like the Tamiya Challenger 2 is usually sold for $69.90 in NZ but its $57 here! The Academy M3 Lee is sold for $50 in NZ while its around $40 here.

Is there any other secret model shops around that sell kits at better prices?

Hi,

Welcome back, you should try M workshop at Sunshine plaza (Prinsep Street). Bernard's got quite competitive prices there.

Cheers!

Crap i should have checked this forum alot sooner. Sorry dude but ive since returned back to kiwi land as of yesterday.

I actually didnt even have the time to shop around more for kits and ended up not getting any. My checkin luggage ended up being overweight anyway so it was just as well that i didnt have any more stuff to bring back.

Will definitely hit the stores earlier the next time im back.

Do any of the stores in Singapore sell their stuff online? Seeing as Singapore is geographically closer to NZ, i thought shipping might be a little easier on the pockets.

If any of you know of any good ones, do share.

Of all the links you placed, i think M Workshop has the best range for the kits im looking for!

Did you ever buy from them before? Any feedback?

Hi Jeremy,

I only bought from the shop, never online before. But Bernard, the man behind the shop is a great guy. No complaints so far.

Happy Shopping.

Cheers!

I go there every weekend. Almost like a club-house for me

But don't just take my word for it, check out the eBay reputation/comments.
