Ok, so what do you want to see more of on ModelGeek.com?

From a subject standpoint what do you want to see? It may be a review or feature or a MOD, what type of subject would you like to see more of?

HI Scott,

Model Geek is a pretty cool site. I was checking it out earlier for the first time. One thing I would add is either a scratch building forum or a technique forum. There were some great "how to" articles there, but no real good category for them. just my .02

Well - I think that if the Dancing girls and nurses are fully clothed and in time period situations Historicus Forma may want them first - BUT HEY - make the dancing creatiures at a Star Wars bar and they'd fit right in to the Sci-Fi area. After Hans goes crazy with a blaster the Nurse from Tatuine can come in a fix'em up so - In the correct setting I'm all Ears...

Thanks for the feedback.

And Jim has a good idea too.

I like the trains myself. We have a train guy in our Dallas Platoon group. He gives great tips and ideas on how to do terrain for dioramas

I was actually thinking since unsolicited reviews arent allowed here, can we have them posted in ModelGeek?

More Sci-Fi huh, ok, I challenge you all with this then.
I have been toying the idea of Model of the Quarter and I will jump in and say that Starting January I will start and the first subject will be Sci-Fi. So lets see what subject matter is out there. Oh and if there are campaigns this can coincide with that and not take away from that.

OK, I voted, but I'll add that we could use...well, "I" could use articles on how to modify figures to the position you want and/or need...say for example, figures carring boxes....ya just don't see any of those. The tamiya 88 kit has one guy who'd be close for box carrying duty{modeled as holding a shell}.

@Dave - I am working on one kitbash feature now and hope fully more to come.

@Bob - That would be a great ModelGeek University feature. I'll have to start writing or soliciting members for that.

@Johnny - ModelGeek university is that starting point for that and a class is starting in January and other tehniques are in and more are coming as features.

Guys - if you have specific technique needs you can also venture into the featuers on Aeroscale, Armorama, Historicus Forma, and Model Shipwrights

Artisic expression!

There are lots of very creative and artistic modellers, who maybe are limited to reference and set rules with models.
Over the last few years some modellers have shown their artwork ... who was it that had vintage buses? Maybe others create "art" as an extra hobby or even use the skills they have learnt as modellers, in the home, car or job.
A mate of mines, another Irish guy living in Stockholm, has every airbrush known to man, and he makes a tidy little extra, customising motorcycle helemts, fuel tanks and jackets!
Maybe not strictly modelling, but would be appreciated by most here?
Just an idea, but it would be fun to have a forum where items such as these could be shown.
Whatever happens though... no poetry! Its not art and is not appreciated :-)

Frank - I know it was a British member who did buses, there was a post a few days ago about it too. Another member showed us his painting.

I know JBA shows off some of his creative abilities with the feature banners on HFM.
