I've just been 'googling' for some accomodation around Telford.
Is anybody else still in need of a place to stay (if you go for both days), if so it may be an idea to post here, to pool knowledge of places to stay and to perhaps arrange sharing accomodation to keep the cost down.

The international is fully booked by the way.. :-)

Cheers
Henk

Henk,

Theres a small B&B in Wellington called The Lord Nelson thats not bad or one just round the corner from there that I'm staying at but for the life of me I can't remember its name. Wellington is only 10 - 15min drive from Telford centre.

Ciao

Hi guys,
For those interested. I have stayed in a B&B in Wellington called The Willow House. Very friendly and as mentioned only a short drive to the exhibition halls.

Hi Henk,

This is the one I'm staying at.
Details as follows: Grove House Hotel, 17 Whitchurch Rd. TF1 3DS Tel:01952 244059 Web: www.grovehousehotel.net

And Lord Nelson, 11 - 13 Park St. TF1 3AE. Tel: 01952 240055

Used both, and both have been good although did have a problem with LN two years ago where the chef left on the Thursday night so no evening meals. You also get a party of Spannish modellers staying at LN (Great crowd, I speak no spannish and only two spoke a little English but we managed)

With the problem over the chef I tried GHH last year and was very happy so booked again for this year.

Hope these are of help.

Ciao
Luciano

I'll be there on Saturday, likely to find me behind the What If?/R&D/TSR2 SIG stands. I'll try and pop over and say hello to you guys, I've seen you at a couple of shows but never bothered to say hello

Hi Lad's
Just signing in for the week end trek to Telford. I'm part of the Cleveland IPMS club & we are manning the doors for traders setting up on Friday. (Bloody cold on them doors BBBRRRRR!!).
I will come over to the Armorama stand & introduce myself, it will be nice to put faces & names together! (There again, may not!! :-)
I will be putting a couple of female figures onto Friendship models display stand for Ian to show as he liked to show the completed figures he sells! (Top Man! & no connection with myself)
Hope we have a good weekend!
regards
Mark (Fazer)

I'll be going on sunday as an average usual punter. Never been before just really interested as I've heard so much about it.

Doubt I'll do much more than point and say wow alot.

Mal,

I'm sorry for the delay in writting but what with courses, exams and going back to HK I've been a tad busy on the domestic front, I only got back to the UK on Sunday last week (spent a fortune at Universal Models and IMA, but saved a packet compared to UK prices).

Anyway I'll be there on Saturday as Nick 61 is giving me a lift (no licence) I think we're aiming to be there at 10.00.

Nick, if you read this I'll call later today or tomorrow night.

Cheers

Craig

Howard,
Make sure that you make yourself known, when you come over to the stand (hall 3). Don't wait until it seems quite because, hopefully, it never will be. There should be plenty of us around waring name badges and or T-shirts. We want to meet as many members as possible
