hi,
i was wondering if anybody had any tips, hints, websites or advise on Scratchbuilding buildings. i was planning on creating a dio with a steyr being ambushed in a french or german city.

Please review my article listed on this subject in the Hall of Fame #5 "Buildiong a Diorama from Scratch", under the FEATURES section button. While the entire document isn't there, you will get a good head start on inexpensive scratchbuilding of scale buildings. Here is a photo to illustrate the concept...

Try using the cork way. There is a feature called "Put a cork in it" that shows the basic idea, although that aticle is for a street, you can use the same method to make buildings.

I use either wood then covered with plaster, or foam board that can be just painted and weathered nicely.
