I was on the internet the other day and found a good Korean War website but when I tried for a WW2 one I just got a bunch of junk. I have googled, yahooed, etc... and still can't seem to find one. I am looking for one that not only has good refrences of weapons and tactics, but timeline, stories, etc... Something like Armorama where you have a wealth of information about everything. Anyone know a good site?

hI ALL,
I've been modelmaking since i was 7.
For the last 15 years or so i've been collecting and doing WW2 Living history.
I have spent these years researching the RAF and RAF Regt, i started my own LHG up 5 years ago and have built my own website for the group.
We do events al;l over the country and are recognised by the real RAF and the various Veteran associations that we have met and done reunion events for.

I'm currently building vehicles that were used by the RAF / RAF Regt.

http:/www.hyperwar.com Lots of info, mainly monologues from the Pacific theater, also lots of info from the US Navy. Decent photo collection.
Olive drab.com is already listed. WWII vehicles.com has information and a few photos. Try searching by a specific topic like "tank destroyers" or "100th infantry division" and there will be more web sites available. There is also a list of links at the bottom of Armorama's homepage. Links lead to more links. There is a WWII webring that you can access this way. Some of those pages link to others from Korea and Vietnam. Some of the pages are of Germany, Russia, Italy, Britain and Commonwealth, and a page about the Brazilian Expeditionary force.
