Hey I was there too but didn't stay for the awards because I hadn't entered anything. I was out with some other people checking out KC BBQ joints.
What was your entry? Can you post a pic? I'm sure I saw it

That is fantastic for everyone. Glad to hear about it.
Anyone know if anyone is submitting photos and to whom they were submitted?

I have a few photos, not many but someone is welcome to them... I didn't want to burn up my own space for it... They aren't the best photo's do to the lighting. Would be happy to pass them on to someone... PM me and let me know.

Hi Guys,
I was very impressed by the entire show....especially the ship models. Fantastic detail and presentation. In our catagories of armor/dio's/figs/etc the level of model there was incredible! Some of my friends in our local chapter told me that would be true and man was it. In the armor a couple of models really jumped out at me....the multi-level displayed Pz III w/interior, the "Ambush of the lazy bastards" dio was very original, and the Best Of Armor was the Israeli tracked communication vehicle (sorry, can't spell or pronounce the tank...very well done though!)
Met a bunch of great guys and hope to make another National show in a couple of years.

I didn't enter anything as I was going to bring something down on Saturday but due to work issues I ended up missing most of it (was supposed to volunteer as well). I managed to sneek down for an hour or so and look at the models and the vendor room on Thursday.
Congrats to the winners and it sure looked like people were having fun. My record for conventions this year is 2 misses out of 2 shows. Thanks to work and a car accident.
