I am attempting to dispose of a large stash of kits for a friend recently widowed. The list runs to 600+ kits. Many of high value. With this in mind, can I ask for offers on the following Accurate Armour kits please?
Please bear in mind that I'm in the UK, and the buyer will have to pay postage. Payment can be accepted by Paypal, and must be received before kit is dispatched. Please contact me at the e-mail given, I'm usually sat on top of the PC, so I should answer fairly soon!

Well I don't know about the auction idea! I've received one bid on the Albion and one on the FV432.
Nobody intrested in an Oshkosh and trailer?

Interested, but petrified - I think these are way beyond my current skill level and I'm not really in a position to make anything more than a derisory offer for any of them... I'm keeping an eye on the auction as a whole though Vinnie, so don't be discouraged.

Maybe Dave (Grumpyoldman) could sell the violent cat to fund buying one of these? It sounds like it would be a more than fair swap :-)

These look interesting. especially the transport. I dont know anything about the value of these kits so I wouldnt know where to begin. If/when? you get to the German armor I'll know where Im at and could make better offers or suggestions.

Greetings all,

Well I've put a bid in on the Scammell K102 and I've never built a resin kit in my life. You can check the market price on Accurate Armour. So come on folks get you hand into you pocket you probably won't get a better offer than this.

Cheers
and good luck to all who bid.

These links are to Accurate Armour's website. You can get bigger pics and more details about the kits which look awesome. prices are roughly what Accurate armour quote, ex P&P, to give you all some idea of where your bids should be (remember who's selling these and why!)

Oshkosk UK HET + GTS 100/7 Trailer £255

Foden 6x6 c. £150

Albion Gun Tractor c. £80

Scammell Pioneer (NB: This is K102, I couldn't find K101 on the site ? OOP) £115

FV432 APC (NB:This is K032, I couldn't find K932 on the website) £68.

Once you've looked at these kits on the site, you know you want to build one - the question is, DARE YOU?! :-)

I'd love to see some of the best builders on this site get their teeth into one of these and post the pics up. Even do a review or some in progress pics!

It appears to me that even though these kits are being auctioned, they are not on E-Bay. It is a silent auction run directly by Vinnie.

Sooooo, Send your bids directly to Vinnie! I assume PM would be okay, but you can e-mail him.

Sean, those are the NON-EEC prices you've posted. The Accurate Armour prices for EEC residents are considerably higher.

Oops. I assumed shipping in the EU would be cheaper! I assume that's down to VAT?

Anyway, all the more reason for people to raise those bids!!!!

Vinnie,

How long will each item be up for bidding?

I take it the next bunch will be up after these ones have been sold?

Thanks.

Hi Guys,

Vinnie has published the first set of bids so you know what your up against. They all look to be about half price so an extra fiver or tenner might just get you that kit you could never really afford. Here's the bids so far:

The latest bids are:
K154 British Oshkosh M1070 Super HET + GTS 100/7 Trailer = £180
K112 Albion FT 15N Gun Tractor = £60
K102 Scammell Pioneer R100 w/colour decals = £70
K932 British Army FV 432 APC = £30
K117 Foden 6x6 Medium Recovery = No Bid

We are privaliged to be offered these kits and I suspect that any future sales will be based on the success or not of this one so bump up the bids if you interested, it is for a very worthwhile cause.

Good luck all, Hmmmmmm, that AFV 432 looks well worth an extra 5 or 10 pounds, could be my old call sign 11A!!!!! LOL, LOL.

Cheers

Hi Bob,

This was the first sale and to the best of my knowledge it is over and all the kits were sold.

The second is still ongoing so check it out, but once the bids are published I think there is about 24 hours to go!!!

Cheers
