I think there is something wrong with rank system or rules have been changed. I have over 400 post and haven't been promoted yet.

Hi Marcin,

I guess it must just be a small bug with the ranking and the cross-site post count.... I never noticed until I read you post that I should have been promoted to General some 300+ posts back... Guess I really should pay more attention

I noticed that I should have been promoted when I looked at posts from member who has nearly 500 and is a major.

Yup...definately a glitch somewhere in the promotion system. It may only be looking at your total posts on one site rather than the whole network. Should be easy to fix though.

Mine hadn't flipped over yet but I didn't bring it up becaue I wasn't sure if it was based on the site posts or network posts. However since someone else has brought it up add my name to the list to look into.....

BTW how does someone post without logging in?? I've seen a number of posts by ANONYMOUS.

Over700 posts and I'm still a Major. Have I been passed over or glitched?

There are some issues with the post count numbers and thus rank elevation. I will have to look at a fix when time permits.

I've been promoted after reaching 400 site posts so 135 posts more and you'll be promoted

How come that US Navy, Marines and Air Force don't have Officer ranks only enlisted ranks? And how long do you stay on each rank?

Hi Jan,

You can go to the action bar right under the last post and click on the Forum FAQ. There you will find the information that explains when you will be promoted from each rank.

Or click on this link.

Thanks Harv!

Looking at the list I see that I must have missed the promotion train, I should be a Petty Officer Second Class coming up to a Petty Officer First Class....
Oh well, I hope that I'll get my back pay for being short in my pay check when I DO get promoted..... :-) :-) :-) :-)
Back to read more on the forum........

Jan and Marcin,
I have zero'd out your post totals. Please make a post on any site and let's see if that doesn't fix the issue.

If it works I will zero out everyones post data and we can all get back on track.

Cheers,
Jim

That looks better.

Of course on Armorama it shows no site posts there (until if/when you post there).

Cheers,
Jim
