Ah warms my heart to see another model shop open!!
Matt, is there any chance you could write up a review on that shop and submit here as a feature. This would do wonders in terms of publicity for people visiting your area. Do bring your camera along if you have one and include them into the review article.
Also do they have an online store?

Hi Ethan
Welcome aboard.
I see you are in Auckland.
Three shops jump to my mind (in no particualr order) which maybe good for what you are looking for depending on where in Auckalnd you live and your means of transport:
Ace Models in Birkenhead (my local)
Modelair in Newmarket
Hobby City Auckland City (down by the Container Terminal)
I hope this helps.
There is a thread as well further down the page in this forum which covers this exact topic.
Everyone else here is really helpful and I am sure you will recieve plenty of great feedback/assistance.
Regards
Sean

I wrote up 2 reviews on the LHS in Auckland so far so you can check them out here. Hobby City is still on my To do list.
