The thread title grabbed me and made me scratch my head. It's going to 80 today and rainy, so when I saw snow I had to read.

Have fun with the snow angels.

Hi Matt

At the other end of the country we have had high winds, power cuts and lots of rain. Very stormy indeed.

Good modelling weather I reckon and thats exactly what I did all day yesterday.

Hang in there mate at least you have the Super 14 trophy safe and sound for another year.

I have experienced such winters and conditions when I lived on the Mainland (i.e the South Island) many years ago.

Regards

Sean

i heard about that on the news, its kind a funny how half a city can rely on one broken power line while down here we were freezing our off with no power due to snow toppling our power lines down.

yeah heard over the news about how some parts of Canterbury wont be getting power back until next week!!

At least its common practise for you guys to have fireplaces down there....if we had a similar snow storm up here in the big smoke coupled with a power cut....we would be sooo snookered.

Isnt it hilarious however that the whole city came to a stand still during the power cut just because one lousy electrical line was cut? Gotta love the contingency planning eh!

Matt, that looks good to me. It's 85 degrees here and they're calling for mid-90's over the weekend. I HATE hot weather and will take snow any day. Well, at least as the wife volunteers to plow it off the driveway! :-)

you probly wont mant to swap hot sun for snow over here MAUSERMAN,because when it snows here it snows hard and being caught up in a snow storm in the middle of the alps would not be nice.on the news again its forcasting for more snow and its only the start of winter, looks like ill have to hit the local hobby shops and stock up.
