The house is where we've stayed on vacation the last couple years.

At home, showing off some of SWMBO gardening handiwork,

Ooof!!

Where are my sunglasses???
Nice ride(s)!

Unfortunatly, a 1993 Nissan Primera isn't worth a picture...
specially not since SWMBO drives it too...

It doesn't matter what it is to me brotha, its all 2,000+ pounds of road art to me. When you stop and think of how much engineering and modeling that goes into making an automobile in my humble opinion there isn't a bad car on the road. Personally, I love em all!

This is how the top goes down, this one isn't my car, but it goes down the same way.

Here's a shot of my motor. In between the two AMG logos is a supercharger that developes a boost 30% higher than your average supercharger, in other words, this six cylinder rocket will make short work providing a stable ride right up to 187 mph with little effort. A well known fact is that it will take stock C5 Corvette to 150, and after that the vette will begin to show its pure American muscle and take charge. All BMW's and Mercedes are governed to 155 for the U.S. market, but that can be modified with a chip reprograming. Pfff, for a meer 1,500 dollars.

There's only one thing better than having one Benz in the driveway, that's having two :-) Here's the brides ride. I'm really not happy with this picture, the car looks like a wedge if I would have just stood back a little to take the picture. But, this is all I have for now, this is the day that we picked it up. I've been side by side with her on the highway cruising at 150, man, her car looks so sweet. The ground effects on her car just suck the nose down and it just looks sooooooooo awesome.

I guess the question would be, which one gives the smoothest ride? :-) :-) :-)

Now I'm going to get killed for this!

Edit: Deleted prior post as it was really unnecessary

Oh, sorry, forgot to add pics of my baby(ies):

The "baby" in front is my ride:

The "baby" in the middle is another shot:

The green Escort wagon is my other ride. Behind it is the trailer I use to haul "baby #1." My third "baby" does not like pictures taken of her and I value my life (and ability to ride "baby #1") (and inherently, riding baby #3), therefore no pic of her!

Hehehehehhehe...........gulp..................!

Not a year old. Great gas mileage, about 32-35 highway. Not bad for a truck...

Shaun, that's amazing! My blue car only gets 17-23 mpg. Heck, I can smoke a 1/4 tank of gas in 20 miles if I get on it. I love the color of your truck. My wifey wants me to get a pickup. I used to own 16 or so delivery vehicles so I never had a problem getting the right truck for the job, but now that I've retired and sold my stock, I'm no longer on the corporate insurance so I can't drive them any more. At one time it wasn't a big deal, but now the insurance companies have more rules than the country has laws.

I see it more like Road Runner vs Coyote !

That's a fine looking truck ma'an. How do you like the Volvo? One of my good friends liked his, he had two Volvo's with dump bodies.

Cheyenne, I've got to agree with you, I was a sailor for 6 years and there are days that I'd pick the same thing. My last vacation was on a cruise ship and I spent one entire day just sitting on the bow, mostly alone due to the 25+ knot wind and just stared at the ocean. It humbles me, its so vast, so mysterious. It took 7 years after first surgery of putting beach sand in a shoe box and trying to stand on it without it causing so much pain do to the feelings I had in my feet as if they were asleep and tingling. I was determind to get back to the water. I finally got there, like I said, after 7 years. It took 3 people to help me down to the waters edge. But I did it, and I stood in one spot for an hour and a half just staring out and listening to the crashing waves. Heh, there's a piece of my life not to many people know about :-) :-)

I remember many years ago being on the highway and having listen to the many trucks ROAR and RUMBLE, smoke and smell. Now the trucks sneak up on ya, your doing 80 mph and you hear this whistle, you look in your side mirror and there's an 18 wheeler passing you. I'm not saying that its the smartest thing to do, but I think its absolutely amazing how far along truck technology has come.
