Should be day 9 but the dreaded flu caught up with me -so no work done ---the pics for to-day are of the crane -from day "7"--(should have been finished )

I have done ..the"Im-possible" ..."Im-..probable" .."In-conceivable" ..."Ir-retrievable" Ir-responsible ......
....Used the wrong figures in my calculations
Now will be haunted by this for years to come!!

..Back to the drawing -board with a slapped wrist
My stupid mistake --because I did not follow my own rules----"work from chassi up"
So lesson learned ---KISS!!------kEEP IT SIMPLE ---STUPID!"
Let not this transgression put you off scratching!!!!!

Your efforts are impressive man. Don't give up. And most of all don't throw that stuff away to the scrap bin. Use it for a fantasy sci-fi build...something completely off the wall and fun. Maybe you could use that swing arm as part of some alien space shuttle or something. Whatever you do keep building. You're an artist man.

Day 5-6
Lots of little bits for details being cut......roller side legs ...engine area (boxes)...new Bi-pod....chassi to unit connections seems not progressing --but got 150 + bits in the box..
Re-vamped crane .
Here are a few pics of trial fit...ruler is 37' --11m(scale)

Again, beautiful work. You just gotta love those PLS vehicles. When I first started building my M1075 PLS I thought, what the hell was I getting into. But now that it is done, I'm glad I went throught the process.

Day 10-11
Not been good ---carpet monster has had a big snack ---the following pics are the result of a long hard couple of days
Tail -lift system --allows operators to be raised up to walk-ways..and to be able to work under road-way





After 2 attempts--(connectors breaking-"C-M "eating pins and bits)
Ram Cylinders are 3mm tube with 1.3mm Rams ......the mounting block on the chassiis -----9 x 5 x 6mm --pins are 1.5mm brass...width of platform (closed)96"--70mm + -.......(65bits)
