Well being that this is even more in my back-yard than AMPS, I will be going should all circumstances permit. I would love to have an entry too. Maybe I can build something small.

What's the theme for this years show?

I'm definetley going to the Nationals. I thought the theme this year was desert warfare. I checked their site but the theme page was not working. Maybe Ron can answer the question for us.

Take that back Jim, the theme for AMPS is desert warfare. Not sure what it is for IPMS.

OK guys, I've dug out my flyer for the Nationals.
The theme is........"Where were you in '52?" An award will be given for the best model subject from the 1950's
I will be going, but I am not sure if I will staying overnight. I'm not even sure I will be entering anything. Depends on how I do at AMPS with what I am taking.
Contest registration is Wed. 7/31-Friday 8/1. There is NO registration on Saturday 8/2.ANd on Saturday everything closes at 1500hrs and the banquet is at 1800hrs and awards at 2000hrs. I don't know if you win anything if you can get your award before the ceremony.
Hopefully, their website will be up soon.

Wonder if I could talk the wife into having a Armorama BBQ for those who attend IPMS since I only live about 8 miles from the site. Does that interest anyone?

From the "Shows and Events" news area...

"The event will be held July 31, 2002 through August 3rd at the Pavilion Convention Center."

Are you kidding...if all works out as planned in the next few weeks, I'll be able to attend! (fingers crossed)

I don't even care about having an entry...I just want to see one!!! Besides it would be on our way to N.J. to see mom. :-)

I'm the Cheshire Cat! Sounds like a great idea there Bryan. Only problem is, just how many of you 'squids' will there be? Sorry, couldn't resist. Haven't used that term in quite a while.

Tread.

Jeez, if too many of us attend your BBQ wearing our Armorama.com shirts the neighbors might think we're some kind of cult!
