Hi
Armorama is not the only one undergoing changes....

I've been playing around with my home page for www.flitzerart.com

Constructive criticism would be appreciated.

Many thanks
Peter

Looks sharp mate!
What's the effect for the Komet? (if that is indeed the plane in question...) Looks kinda underwatery?
Cheers
Brad

Hi Brad
its a Fw Ta183 computer montage thing I did ages ago. You are right tho...it does look a little sub-mariner. I just tweaked up the blues in Photoshop variations and blurred it. Maybe a tad too much :-) .
Still this layout is a prototype and comments such as yours are invaluable. I'll fix it for mark ll .

Thanks and cheers
Peter

Really sharp design. I love the color scheme. Simple and straight forward.

On the new home page the Luft46 image seems a bit 'out in right field' so to speak, it's a bit lost. I'm a bit concerned what will happen when the page is resized for various resolutions.
The page seems a bit left weighted and the link menu is centered.... It may even out a bit better on the left.

Thanks Scott
I'll try the link panel over to the right a bit.
In fact now I've looked at it for a while I may realign a few things.
The pig in the poke is the Luftwaffe Web Ring panel. It has to go in that position or it won't work. Which causes a few problems if the whole design is to look unified rather than a great lump stuck on at the bottom.
I'll post when I get it shaped up a bit more.

Thanks again
Peter

JUst tweaked it.
Its a little more asymmetric now. I adjusted the main Ta183 pic to get away from the submarine look, re-aligned the link panel etc.
I'm a lot happier with itnow.

Just got to give it to the web development boys now if it passes muster.

Cheers

Many thanks for the once ( or should it be Twice) over....

I'm now adapting the inner pages to the new home page style.

Re vamps seem to be in vogue at the moment :-)

Cheers
