Just got to cut out body route cavitys etc. but I got 2 catologs and a mis-printed copy of a stewart macdonald book with the corrections written in (the guy had been sent a free copy) from a fellow luthier(person who builds guitars) who builds acoustic guitars here in Muscatine IA.
I also scored a neck off of ebay on the same day so I don't need a neck. For now at least. I can't wait til' the package from GenAbrams arrives too. Once again thanks Kenneth for the stuff!
God I can't wait til' this thing is finished so I can start to jam on it.

Hope the project works out well. Our lead guitarist has several instruments including one he made himself. It is not the FIRST one he made, and he learned quite a bit through trial and error on several previous ones he made over the years, but the one he has now is really a terriffic instrument.

Likewise want to see pictures when you're done!!

I'll have someone post pics for me and as soon as I get some vinyl I'll make a pickguard for the guitar but I'll do that after GenAbrams package arrives, since I need to get some stuff figured out when it gets here.

Luke,

Hope you got my P.M. mail has been a lil' off in here I believe.

At any rate, you've got a couple selector switches, three volume/tone pots, ( not sure which is which, but youll easily figure that out ) . . . ummm . . . input jacks, knobs, a backing plate for the routed cut out, ( wait if you can before routing, trace this plate, and make the hole smaller, and this plate will protect all the wiring and such ) . . lets see . . . oh yes, your humbucker, well I hooked you up here better than I thought I would be able to, its a Dimarzio Fred, real cool back in the day, I think I paid good money for it way back when, this thing has a nice fat tone to it . . . . A DOD distortion pedal, AND a DOD 6 way EQ pedal, you should be able to tweak any sound you want with those.

Now Remember, these things are used, and were in a parts drawer, they all should work just fine, but I cant guarantee anything . . . . hope its all good, and have fun.

Ken

GenAbrams, is it a bridge or a neck position?

I've read a lot of good stuff about the Fred on the projectguitar.com forums and I just have to sit tight til' the package gets here. And I found a family member who will be able to loan me a router of his.
