I just got back and am very impressed with the airshow.
If you did I should like to see some of your pics.

Hey mark,

Please tell me you got photos from the show because i really would like to see it. I couldnt make it down there so am reliant on people like yourselves to share out the photos.

04 and 2000.

they ain't great but if interested can post what I consider the best of the bunch

ever since the WOW finshed we have old planes flying over chch.im pretty sure i saw a dakota maybe not but it looked like one even with the old markings.

Well I did get some pics from Wanaka, and as soon as I figure out how to will post at least some.
To the person ( I,m on a slow connection today, so cant be bothered to go back and find your name, my apologies) who spoke of seing a Dak. You probobly are correct, if it is in od with invasion stripes and the initials WB on the forward fuselage.

Oh don't overlook the Classic Wings Airshow in Blenheim either.

There are a couple of folders from the 2003 and 2005 airshows on my photonet portfolio that you may care to peruse. I got a media pass and also took pics for the organising crews and military re-enactors for the archive,
