I agree with you fully, when I see the Abrams Tank and some of the Star Wars models and other military subjects that build into some very good looking replicas, although to me the price is incredible. I suppose he would say the same about the expense of my stash and tools.
They are very impressive though and having seen the mass of componants in the boxes have to see them as model making in their own right.
I wish Lego had made such things in my day.

Man do I love lego! I spent most of my "younger life" building lego until I found scale modelling... I too second, lego is the best!
