This year, along with the figure categories, dioramas, vignettes, juniors, collections and miscellaneous will be judged on the open system. Additionally, about a dozen individual special awards will be provided, these include Best Closed Wheel Competition Sports/Rally Car, Best North American Military Figure, Best Non-Military Aircraft, Most Creative Award, Best Display, Best World War I Subject, Glory Days Award (Best Competition Car From 1979 Or Earlier), Chevy Bowtie Award, Best Paint - Stock Or Custom Car, Most Challenging Aircraft Paint Scheme, Most Creative "What-If?" Among our many vendors are one of the premier East Coast figure dealers, a specialist in armor/armor aftermarket, with a large selection of Verlinden accessories, another who specializes in aircraft aftermarket and decals, and a car specialist. We will also have raffles throughout the day.
The Knights of Columbus provide on site hot food.
For full details on our open system judging, directions, rules, full category list and downloadable entry forms (Word and PDF), please go to . Wings & Wheels website

Al, what is the latest an entry can be made? If I attend it's a 4 hour drive, and I would rather not get up at the crack of dawn! :-)

Edit: NVM I found it!

Sorry Al,
Looks like I'm missing the show this year. I've always enjoyed it and gotten some good deals upstairs too.

Hey, Al (and rest of the gang), I will definitely be there. Unfortunately, since I have got nothing new to present, I will just play the role of a spectator this time around.

I won't be in the area this time around. ValleyCon was one of my favorite shows.

Marty, anything that hasn't won here in past is fair game to enter.

Picture Hooters without the burgers and wings or the cute little uniforms or the family friendly atmosphere! :-)

Hey guys, how was the show? Unfortunately I was on-call this past weekend and yes I got called into work.

I don't go to too many shows as it is and to have to miss one because of work just plain old stinks.

So, are there any photos?

Did any of you guys that attended the Wings & Wheels 2006 show, take any pictures of the show ? If so, has anyone, or will anyone post them here on Armorama ?

Show was really good, and there were lots of good-looking armor kits on display

Cheers !!
