Ever thought of the burning bag of crap?

I have a more sinister way of dealing with it. This only works if these four criteria are met. U need a bucket with a lid, a pet that craps alot, somewhere to store the bucket. They need to have a vehicle. Store crap in bucket. Add water. Let it stew. Remember to leave teh lid on so that no one can smell it and trace it back to u. Late at night or early in the morning, pour bucket contents over their car. The stench will leak everywhere and it will stink. Everytime they turn on the air, defroster or heat, they will be reminded.

Just a thought.

Shaun and Martin,

I am sorry to hear about your troubles. It is amazing how some people are either clueless or just don give a !@#$% about anybody else but themselves.

Marty,
Your problem brings to mind a similar situation we had when we first moved into our neighborhood.
On the next street over there were some young folks that felt the entire neighborhood would enjoy listening to their music. To make sure that we got the chance, thay would put their speakers into their window facing out of the house.
My then neighbor from across the street was an 80 something gentleman from Italy. Needless to say, he wasn't particularly fond of their style of music. He put up with it for a while, then he took care of matters himself. He placed b]his[/b] speakers in b]his[/b] window facing directly at b]their[/b] house and proceeded to play his favorite brand of music. Being a grown man with the resources to afford most whatever he wanted, he had an extremely good stero.
And his favorite music....
Opera! :-)
Needless to say that after an afternoon of this, the neighborhood never had that problem again.

Not a suggestion on how to handle your situation.
Just sharing one of my favorite stories
Craig
PS: I miss that old gentleman. It's not my beliefs but if he is out there somewhere, I hope he's enjoying his music. Cheers to him

This answer is good for tower block residents fed up with noise pollution from car stereos. Crafty old so-and-so, one of my drinking mates had a problem with a local who kept calling to collect a friend. He could be heard coming down the street with his Stereo on full blast, he’d park up below the high-rise waiting patiently, while merrily listening away to the boom, boom, boom of whatever music he preferred. Problem was the neighbours also got a good earful of decibel breaking hip-hop and rap too.

After 2-3 successive nights of this racket in the hot UK summer, my friend mooched over to his freezer and collected a bucket load of ice and topped it up with water. A swift check over the balcony confirmed target in sight, complete with a bonus, the car sunroof was open too. Old so-and-so figured that being several floors up wouldn’t do too much damage and it certainly wouldn’t kill the car occupant, so over the side went the icewater. The guy downstairs thought there had been a mini hailstorm when the ice clattered all over his car roof and he got a good dousing of cold water and ice straight into his lap.

Strange that when the Gent called the following evening, the music was subdued a block away.

This is a true story and I hope it made you all smile! Regards, John
