Well, after a quick heads-up by Herberta who remembered from a long-ago discussion, today I finally found and won a set of the long chased AIRFIX JAPANESE MULTIPOSE INFANTRY...! What a relief... this is one of the 5 or 6 "gotta have it in my collection" kits that I have been after for about 5 years. Best of all, I bought them for the cheapest price I have ever seen the Japanese ever go for (normally in the $55-60 range)...

So a BIG SALUTE and THANKS to Herberta... I appreciate you keeping me in mind. You guys are the greatest! a big Pacific Atoll Battle Diorama is now on the drawing board... anyone know where I can get GOOD QUALITY color photos of Japanese Imperial Infantry?

Wow, hard to believe the Japanese infantry go for that much. It seems that whenever I see the British 8th Army Desert Rats, they always go for just under $10. Of course, I don't see any other sets on shelves.
