I was hoping to make both days as it's not that far from me (Pittsburgh). But I've looked at my calendar and see that MFCA is the following weekend (a definite show for me) and that Toledo Region IV is the weekend after that.
So I'll probably just do Saturday at AMPS, both days at MFCA and then have to skip Toledo
Can't abuse the privleges too much.

I'm planning to be there Friday and Saturday. It's a 13-hour road trip from Kansas City, but Ohio is a lot closer than Maryland.
We discussed this at our KC AMPS meeting Wednesday night. Looks like we'll have a contingent of 5 or 6 attending at least on Saturday. I'm taking my pick-up, so some of the guys who are flying want me to transport their models. We'll see how that works out.
I'll enter a few models for giggles, but I'm most looking forward to drooling over the models other bring, taking pics of the museum's collection, and dropping a bit of cash in the vendors pockets. Just hope I don't need to rent a trailer to get it all home!

I see there a few events going on around Ohio....If you could only pick one event to attend from the 3 that you listed. what would everyone choose and which one will have the most vendors and stuff to buy?

MAJORBEEFALO,
I would attend AMPS - if you are going based soley on the vendors that will be present. I have never attended AMPS, however, I have heard that the vendors that attend that show have really cool stuff.

Just talked with Matt and I'll be sharing the ride with him. If we do make it up, it'll be my first. I'm also hoping to meet the many other members who will attend.

Still too far. It needs to be brought to the midwest. Where it is being held is still in the east. I hope you guys have a great time.

There should be a large contingent of us Canadians heading down. In the 4 to 5 local clubs, I've counted about 25 to 30 of us, and with the exchange rate being so favourable, we should be a spending force.
I'll be the big guy wearing the Che t-shirt and puffin away on a Coheba :-)

Gentlemen,
Within the next few days AMPS 2006 Co-Chair Dave Potter will be listing the AMPS 2006 vendors-you'll be impressed! We are almost completely sold out of our 80-ish vendor tables with 2 months till the show, if anyone might still want tables-Hurry-Hurry.-This is our fastest table sales ever. Watch for ithat list and further show updates right up until show time! (or like Wednesday night the 26th of April when most of us will be in Hubbard or Belmont)
Best Regards,
Bob Collignon AMPS 2006 ShowChair
