We need a new Host for the History Forum. Hosts differ from moderators in that while they do have the ability to administrate their forum or discussion group they also are reponsible for the overall "health" of their forum. So if you like to engage other users in historical non-political talks, and have some time to be a mother hen... then by all means let us know.

Thanks,
Jim

I would be interested in the job Jim,

Its a shame people seem to have lost interest in the forum over the past 6 months or so, im sure it could be improved with some interesting debates like we used to have.

Regards

Joe

I would be interested as an assistant or back up. My primary job allows me to be near a computer constantly.

Jim, as always I am available and willing to lend a hand, and I would be happy to be able to help out here at the History Forum. I did minor in American History (AND LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT!) at Duquesne University (although that was many years ago!) I have not forgotten all of my education! It would be an honor to be involved in such a well debatable subject forum such as this! I'm signed on to Armorama all day at the office and til bedtime at home...(and I have teriffic mothering instincts! )

Welcome aboard, Rodger.
Remember, the Broncos vs. Steelers playoff game does qualify as history...

Wow, I'm touched, and excited. Does this mean I get a key to the moderators washroom?

Now is somebody going to tell me what to do?

Well if we're going to discuss football and history let's discuss the Rolling Stones at the Super Bowl. They should have performed for SB ONE, not XL.

Welcome to the "rank and file" Rodger!
Good luck with your new post... as in position. (pun not intended)

As model builders, I bet most if not all modelers are some kind of history buffs.
