My 75 Civic had about 190,000 when the seat started to fall through the floor board.
The 83 had 156,000 when I traded it for an 88 CrX which was killed by a tree when I was run off the road.
My 93 had 136,000 when traded it for a 99 Integra which had only 42,000 (nice to work close to home) when I traded if for ms S2000.

I still have a 1988 Honda CRX Si. That beast is at 220000km. She still drives like a baby and no rust. Great car for highway driving and just plain ol booking around
I have told my wife I want to be buried in that car

My first car, 1979 VW Rabbit had 180,000 miles when I totaled it in 1991. My next car, 1983 Mazda 626 had around 160,000 miles when the motor caught fire and burned to a crisp. I believe it was an electrical problem. My other car (mini van) had 197,000 miles when I donated it to Good Will. The truck I drive now has 28,000 miles on it. It is nice to drive something still under manufacturer's warranty. :-)

Well, my 1983 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme hasn't moved since I was 14, which was 4 years ago, so I really don't suppose it's acquired many miles since then. Although, my big yellow limosuine (the school bus) has 300,000+...so does that count?

Thanks for your time.

Bought a 1976 Chevy Nova in 1984,w/43k mi."La Bamba" was with me 16 years and had 271,000mi to her credit when I donated her to the ASPCA.'01Honda Civic now has 34k on it.Yes,I watched the odometer go '000,000.00'-twice!

Rust was so bad on the Nova that I had a bumper sticker on the dashboard in front of the steering wheel that said,"This is not an abandoned car".
cheers!

MY 1995 Honda Civic Coupe had 105,000 miles when I sold it in 2000. It had NEVER been in the shop for repairs other that wear and tear items (brake pads, oil, etc).
I am now driving a 2004 Civic Coupe which has also never seen a mechanics wrench so far. Only 11K miles on her though.

1994 Ford Escort LX Wagon.....got about 145,000 miles on it now. I've had the clutch replaced twice, the timing belt once, the oil changed about 49 times

, the tires thrice, the rear springs once, and the shocks once. Oh, and I'm STILL getting 37 miles to the gallon in the city and about 42 on the highway. This poor baby has been the family car AND my truck for the last almost 12 years. And it now pulls my "made in (a foreign country), modified in America" trailer with my Polaris Sportsman 500 HO!

My 1995 4Runner has 125k, and never a major service. My 2003 Passat - the 5th one btw, is the first one to need major repairs every month. Its so bad I am on a first name basis with Both service managers! It has 19k on it, and had brakes 3 times, computer 2x, dash once, stereo speakers 2x, It through a brake caliper the other day leaving me stranded on a back road in the dark for 2 hrs. Thank god for VW roadside service. When the warrenty is up on this one - its leaving! :-)
A side note. When its running well, this thing is an autobahn beast. A preverbial wolf in sheeps clothing. It has the W8 Engine and is a gas to leave the Beamer types sitting at the green light with their mouths open! :-)

'87 Chevy Pick-Up, 220,000+ miles -- runs fine, but salt air taking(took) it's toll on the body -- oh well, that's what Krylon primer is for ... 350, farmer-4-speed (that's a 3-speed with a granny-gear for you city folk), no frills, radio is a transistor taped to the dash ... can't get 'em like that anymore ... which is why I won't buy a new one ...
One before it was a '76 Chevy pickup, drove it into the ground around 180,000 (front-end shot) .... got a promotion at work & bought the '87 instead of fixing it up ... The '76 was a straight-6 w/ 3-on-the-column ... engine compartment so big you could get up inside it with a 6-pack & a picnic basket to work on the engine -- of course it took three days for the engine to warm up also ....

Our 98 civic had 260,000 miles when it was stolen two years ago. And a toyota pickup I used for work was crossing 300,000 when I left the company.
