Very nice one JM. Looked like you were having the shakes when you took those photos though....did you sleep at all?

Is this the Academy kit? I am thinking of getting it so would love any feedback you may have.

In terms of suggestions, i might weather the tank a little more. Tracks and lower hull.

Loving the side skirts though...where did you get those from?

Thanks guys!

:-) ... I need to get a tripod!

The kit is from Italeri... skirts are provided... painted them with oils to achieve the "wood" effect.

Yup... more weathering. I'll get that done soon. By the way, this build is for the "From the Halls of Montezuma Campaign".

Overall... I'll say it's a 7 out of 10 kit. Not too bad, but i'm sure the DML kits are way better... Without a doubt.

As Jeremy said, add more weathering to enhance the look but if you decide to keep it clean, it looks great too!

I love the look of the wood, looks very realistic.

Thanks Danny for the compliments... Still improving on my modelling skills... I need to work harder... :-)

The "wood" effect is obtained through oil paints. And I'm still contemplating between dusty-ing the tank or mud-ding the tank... :-)
