I've known a few people who've had that surgery and they are doing fine. It's a pretty comm9on procedure so the docs have a lot of practice.

I should have pointed out he hasn’t had the surgery yet. There going to run some more test and then preform the surgery in a few weeks
I’m not positive but I think they went to let his neck heal up a bit before they do it.

Anyway he’s home now and isn’t trying to get up and move around yet. But if he does try to we have plenty of chains laying around.
He’ll stay in that recliner one way or another. :-)
