Hi. I am having trouble posting images since the change over to Kitmaker galleries. Why is that. I click on the [img] icon on the posting page and paste in the url from the picture as displayed on the Kitmaker gallery page. All I get is the red x Whats going on?

I think waht happens is that by clicking on the link thing in the gallery, you import a space which messes up the coding.
What I do is to right click the picture, choose "Properties" in the bottom of hte box then tripple click the address and right click that, choosing the "Copy" option.
Back in the post, I clilck the IMG button, highlight the text not in the brackets, right click this and choise the "Paste" option.
If I'm doing multilpe pictures, I'll drop the addresses in a word document first, add the image tags, img and /img inside brackets at the beginnig and end of each address and copy and paste the whole thing into a post.

If you copy the link under your photo in the gallery you do NOT need to click the image thigie in the post page as the [ img ] - [ /img ] are already at each end of the URL to the picture.
So just copy and paste the address under the gallery picture.
Hope that is understandable.
Cheers
Cliff
PS> If you wish to post a link to somewhere else on the internet to a photo in the kitmaker gallery you must use the URL brought up when you right click and then click properties.

I always go to the individual pic, right click, copy the url, then I add my own [ img] [/ img] tags around the url.

This way works best for me as well. I found out the links tend to become inconsistent once you start moving your pictures in your gallery for MoM and campaigns. Alan's method as described should work like a charm.

Very Interesting Watson........
The answer lies here::::
when you copy and paste the properties... you get:
http://photos.kitmaker.net/data/14736/Launch-002.jpg and add the [img] tags it comes up.....
when you click the copy on the bottom.... you get:
http://photos.kitmaker.net/data/500/Launch-002.jpg it already has the [img] tags but to a totally different location......
Two different locations...... !!!!
Something Staff_Jim will need to figure out why......
because I have no idea why!!!!...... LOL
