Hello guys
a friend of mine is back from Vietnam where he bought a zippo bearing a badge and a date.
I took a photo of them
we would like to know what the badge represents.
Maybe somebody can help ?
Many thanks beforehand.

Not off topic at all, Francis.

I don't recognize the badge, but it's probably derived from a U.S. regimental crest. There are literally hundreds of different regimental crests, so it may not be easy to track down. Odds are this was taken from the body of some poor GI.

Hello Bob,
thanks for your answer.
I'm sorry to say that you are probably right about the GI.
My friend will keep the zippo as a relic of this bad past.
