Just a note to say hi to every one.I joined today ,ive being intrested in modling since i was a child ,whatching the old man do them for me.once i was old enoth the takle them i had a bash..havent made one for about 5 yrs now and dessided ide like to get back into them .hope to get some good tips from you guys.have looked throught the site and there is some outstanding work being done..

thanks for the welcome everyone.im a yorkie not a georgie..lol anyone got anygood kits in the military area for my first build..looking to do a diarama too .was thinking of a ww2 era maybe a camp or something..can u get ready made tents or is there a simple way of building one...thanks again

what do u recomend for my first build in a long time.....?

First of all : welcome to the big A Karl.

Now, for a first kit in a while, I'd do a newer tamiya kit, like the M26 Pershing.

It's practically a 'shake & bake' kit

How about Tamiya's M4 Sherman.

Try out some cheap Tamiya kit. They're easier than the current DML kits.

like the look of the M26 Pershing. but still got a thing for the sherman ...with this being my first build in along time what do u recomend ..i will be ordering on linedue to no local hobby shops..so if u can tell me what to order and were from would be great i.e paint or spray and what kit ..i am so new i need alot of help ..glue all over is what i usd to do..lol
