Hi guys!
I'm here to order you all (actually just ask nicely) to buy the Serenity DVD, which goes on sale tomorrow. If you've seen it, you know how amazing it is and you'll have to see it again. If you haven't seen it, go buy the DVD and discover this amazing movie! The DVD is currently #1 on Amazon's best seller list, so it must be good, right?
So run out tomorrow and buy Serenity...or else! >:)
I expect to hear how much you all loved it!
~Kirsten
P.S. You can buy the DVD and support Armorama at the same time! How cool is that?

A little birdy told me I was not allowed to buy the Firefly boxed set or the Serenity DVD for myself. I am allowed to buy anything else for myself.... I think that's good news for me:-)--<

As long as someone buys it for you, I'll be happy! Whether we get a sequel or not depends on the DVD sales and I REALLY want a sequel!
I can't buy it for myself either because my sister is buying it for me for Christmas but I did purchase two copies to give to Toys for Tots. I'm such a good little Browncoat!

Your wish is my command, O fair one!
I've actully dropped enough hints about the household, so I'm hoping it will be under the tree in 4 days(hey, didn't we used to have a Santa smiley???

But even if it doesn't pop up, you can be certain this one will join my complete boxed set on the DVD rack raht-Quickly like

Shiny! We Whedonites have to stick together! I'm bound and determined to get everyone to watch this movie. I know most will be converted once they do! Glad to know I have support on the inside.

Alright, what's the catch here? I understand liking a movie and all, but what? Did ya build the set? Did ya'll produce it? How will my buying this DVD help Armorama?
EmerldEyze, I have a horrible stubborn streak which makes me resist the orders of anyone, every time.
So, what's the stakes you have for this movie? Why are ya pushing it?
Just curious,

I have just recently finished watching the series (courtesy of Netflix). Serenity, the movie, is also on my to-be-rented list. We'll see if it is worth owning. :-)

A friend at work lent me his boxed Firefly set. Cool thing is I got SWMBO hooked into it, I told her Serenity was out there so maybe there'll be something nice in my stocking Sunday! :-)

Nope....I had absolutely nothing to do with the production of this movie. I'm doing this purely as a labor of love. I watched the series on Fox and fell in love with it. I was heartbroken and pissed when Fox cancelled it after just 11 episodes (they didn't market the show, they showed episodes out of order and never aired the pilot, and then wondered why no one was watching. Idiots!). Anyhow, the fans of the show wouldn't give up because we loved the show so very much, and due, in large part ,to the strong fan following, Universal agrred to make the movie. The movie didn't do as well as we hoped (again, poor marketing and a bad release date) but there is hope for a sequel or the series being picked up (hopefully by Sci-Fi channel) if the DVD sales do well. That is why I'm pushing this movie. Well, that and it's a really good movie. I sincerely believe people will love this movie if they give it a chance. So, here I am, pimping the movie i the hopes of getting more from this writer and cast that I love so much. Oh, and if you buy the movie through the Armorama Amazon link, you're also supporting Armorama.
Oh, and I was totally kidding about the "order" thing. I'm just asking really, really nicely to give it a try

Does that clear things up?

Renting the movie will work, as well. Anything to get the numbers up. I'm happy to report that Serenity has been #1 on Amazon's top selling list for over a week, with Firefly the series at # 3! Woo Hoo!!

I have yet to meet anyone who watched the series or the movie and didn't like it. My mom liked it and it is so not her movie! I converted my sister and brother in law over the weekend.
I hope Santa was good to you and left Serenity in your stocking!

My little birdie has confirmed my Serenity and Firefly boxed set are coming but that the shipping (due to it being a few days before Xmas when Serenity was released) has taken longer than expected and is not coming directly to my house.

I finally finished watching the Firefly boxed set and Serenity. WOW!!!! Great mix of action and humor.
They didn't lose a step from the tv series even though the movie was done years later.

Did anyone else notice the registration number on the downed ship on MIranda? A small hint: Miranda is a "forbiden planet".
