Hi all.
I find the internet great if your looking for something specific and dont want to go through the rigmarole of ordering from a shop and waiting weeks. Not just for kits etc but books, dvds, cds you name it.
What the net cant and never will replace is the joy of wondering round a shop with piles of kits and accessories to browse.A nice display cabinet of completed models to enjoy, and chatting with the shop staff and other modellers.

Hi
Like most of the rest of the posters, I too would go to the LHS, but Basingstoke has the ModelZone infliction - too many trains and diecast models...
There is a good shop down in Plymouth called Antics on Royal Parade - I believe they still sell a good range of plastic kits and figures.

About Antics - the only trouble I had with them was trying to get their site to accept my CC details.
think yourself lucky mate!
funnily enough antics never had a problem accepting my CC details or my money for that matter, they just had a problem with giving me my models.
Anyone who rates them - fair enough, you'll get no argument from me....but once bitten, twice shy, and I've not so much as looked at their website since.
