Any modeling plans for the Holiday?

I hope to do a bit more to my IDF M60 and Sdkfz 251.

What are you guys thankful for this year?

I'm thankful I finally finished the Sherman that took me forever!

I hope to finish my 1/9 scale lightning sailboat - gift to my dad.
I want to make significant headway on my contest dio.

I am thankful for the ability to do both. Family, Friends, job, time, hobbies, and of course Armorama.

Have a great Holiday.

Happy Thanksgiving everybody!

Did your Dad race Lightnings? I'm very familiar with them as I'm from the "Home of the Lightning" here in NY.

If you need any reference photos, I may be able to dig some up. I shot the 60th anniversary regatta for one of the sailing mags.

I hope to finish the hellcat I have been on for two months.

I am thankful for God blessing me so much this year, for my new bride, for the opportunity to go back to school and get an education, and for the little time I am able to spend on modelling.

I will have my 4 kidlets home for 5 days this Thanksgiving,so nothing is getting done. When this holiday season is over,I will be a flurry of activity though. This Christmas is all about my kids and I am going all out.Really looking forward to those faces on Christmas morning (but not the cleanup after).Until then, all projects are put on hold.It is certainly worth it.

I will be working on my last "Panic Build" of the year. I am doing a out of the box buildup of a PT 109 I got as a gift this year, because the giver is visiting for Christmas. I hope to do all of the prep, and fit work, and have it totally ready for paint by the next weekend. Otherwise I will be celebrating with family, and praying that rampant kids don't destroy my existing collection.

Hey guys,
I hope everyone has a safe Thanksgiving. I doubt that I'll be able to get any modeling done for all the family on Thursday and putting up the Christmas tree on Friday. At least we can all sit and watch football !!!!!! :-)

I hope I get something done!

I'm thankful for my wonderful family! ...and of course, the people here on ArmoramA.

As for Christmas trees, I'll be selling 'em for a total of 21 hours on Firday and Saturday... (10 hours Fri, 11 Sat) Keep it simple, just get a fraser fir. :-)

TODAY The City Of DALLAS IS MORNING THE LOSS OF ONE OF IT"S Most Prominent Christian Families..They died Yesterday in a small plane crash in Oklahoma. So
As for me I am reminded just how short our lifes are. And quickly it can all end.. The Entire
family, Mom Dad, Two Sons, And thier Daughter were killed. The Kids were all in their Teens. The Parents were well respected and known in the DFW area. SO as I go into this Holiday Season I HAVE To tell myself.. But for the Grace of God, Their go I. SO I am thankful for the simple pleasure in al that have, See, Hear, Smell, etc, etc, SIMPLY Just being alive and having the friends that I have. And being able to enjoy the simple pleasures of life itself !

I am so happy that I got a lot done today! I worked for nearly 7 straight, uninterupted hours! I got much more done than intended. How did the rest of you fare?

We don't do Thanksgiving around here (but this hardly means a relief to our turkeys - we serve them at christmas (:-) ).
No holiday, but I'll work on the dio (Volkie's tree - second version) and think about a solution for the sci-fi contest that can make everybody happy.

Hey Bros (and gals)

Currently, I am working on a Styer for the "Working Bench" project over at WW2Modelmaker. It's been a while since I've been here.

The only other ting that is taking me away right now is the upcoming toy runs over the next couple of weekends. Get on yer bad motor scooter and ride!

Later,
Dave

No Holiday Modeling for me this year. Got a new job and relocation going on. I'll be handling a lot of plastic models in packing, but doubt I'll be doing any modeling until after the New Year comes.

Guess I'll be doing the 1:1 Scale thing this month for Christmas...
