Folks may or may not have noticed that http://www.pcmodeler.com has been down and actually indicates that the domain is no longer registered.

Well, several weeks ago my credit card data was stolen. As luck would have it, my domain renewel/web hosting was automatically charged to one of those cards. As the charges happened to come up, they were denied. As such, I decided that instead of just getting in touch with them and changing the account information that maybe it was time to move on to other things.

The site officially launched December 1st, 1999. Six years is a pretty good run for any personal website.

I'd like to thank everyone that visited the site over the years. I made some great friends and hopefully I'll still get the chance to meet some of you at one of the many model contests that I still plan to attend.

I really hate to see a good website bite the dust. You gotta do what you gotta do but perhaps you could reconsider your decision to shut it down. If you need help managing the site, I am sure someone would step up an offer some of his/her time. You've had some good stuff on that site and to see it all go to waste saddens me.
