Who here's up for some late night COD2 tonight? By late night I'm talking about 10PM CST or so, around that time for a start. I'll be at a party for a couple of hours but should be home prior to 10 and I can host if we want to have a small Big A family only LAN party. Sign up here and we can organize a little test session to get things kicked off. Think it would be fun to try out some H2H with just a small group of people we 'know'. I've read there's a bunch of hacks and exploits in this game already, so I've not even tried the multiplayer yet in this one. Finished the SP campaign and am disappointed that it's over, that was one helluva ride!

Sign in here if you're interested in playing tonight.

Are you doing PC version or console? I'd love to play the PC version with guys that DON'T want to get shot. The regular online games consist of someone killing someone else 71 times and dying 60 times, that's no fun, its just an online slaughter with no rush of excitement staying alive.

PC version, I don't have the console version. I just can't get into console shooters, it doesn't feel natural using a controller versus using a mouse and keyboard.

I agree about the staying alive part but the way the game's laid out, you respawn a bunch so staying alive is not important. Wish they had co-op in this thing, that would be awesome!

We'll look to getting something going this upcoming week, maybe once during the week and again on Friday night.

Co-op missions would rule. Years ago I played a comandos game online in co-op. It was so much fun using voice all working for the same mission. We needed a sniper, we'd call on one, he'd come forth and do his thing. If we needed a fire team, they did the same as one or two of us would sneak in and set charges. Co-op is so much fun with voice coms.

Email me when you guys get serious. I'm up for some death and destruction.

Best game for co-op right now is SWAT4, haven't played it in months though but it was always a blast playing co-op.

Just join the multiplayer through the game, I did it for the first time with COD2 last night and it's a blast. Got my butt handed to me quite a bit but it's fun and I really am enjoying the HQ format the best. Not sure how all of it works yet but am starting to get the hang of it. It can be great fun if you have a bunch of people who do work together, if you end up on a team where people go in all different directions in can get annoying though. Teamwork is vital in objective based games.

That's all we'd need, then we'd have no time for modeling! lol
