can anyone provide me with the iPod dimensions? the regular one not the nano or the mini. I've caught the scratchbuilding bug and I want to have one of my soldiers listening to an iPod. hmm... maybe it could be my Werhmacht solder...

Look up a site that sells it, or go to Sony's site. Find the dimensions there, then use Kitspy to get the dimensions.
Hint, a chip of plastic with two tiny wires will do you in 1/35.

Apple's iPod site
4.1 x 2.4 x 0.55 inches. The newer ones are 0.43" deep for the lower capacity models.

here is the dimensions in centimeters... it doesn't look very promising...
0.2975428571428571 x 0.1741714285714286 x
0.039914285714285715 !!!
or roughly 3mm x 1.7mm x .4mm... hmm...
and the wires are a problem too. my STEREO phones capable of blocking out any external sound has a 5mm thick cord. now, an iPod normally has the earbuds, which have the very thin wires. so 5mm scales to 1/35 scale is 0.143mm dang! my thinnest piece of wire that I have in stock are1/6 of a millimeter or 0.1666667

If all goes wrong, you just leave the ipod in he soldier's pocket en just do the wire from his pocket and have that disappear under his helmet ..
