Here in Colorado Springs, where the first question I normally get asked is, "how do you handle all that snow", we've gotten two VERY light dustings of snow. Pikes Peak, at 14000 feet, is nearly bare of snow. That's also VERY unusual. You guys can send some of that white stuff out here, I don't mind.

I've heard in the news that parts of Europe got completely buried these few days. It sure seems like snow came way early this year. What is going on?

Dont talk to me about snow............

Although weve only had a little snow so far, it tend to snow a lot here in scandinavia. Funny I lost all my interest in wintersports and snow after my military service when I from time to time were stationed inside the artic circle. Brrrrrrrr.........

Hi all,
Belgium just got it's first snowfall last night. It was great to wake up in the morning and open the curtains and see everything white!!After living here for five years i can never get enough of snow. For some of you its probably a pain in the arse, but for me coming out of Auckland in New Zealand (where it never snows) it is a big deal!!Still waiting for a white Christmas!!
Cheers,Shay

Mary, in New England we call that a heavy frost.

We had 4 inches by noon on Thanksgiving. Got that cleared away and the streest got cleaned up. The we got another half inch about 9:00 pm which turned the roads to skating rinks for the Friday commute. Driving on that with high performance summer tires was not at all fun. Anti Lock Brakes arrea godsend! The rear end stared to swing out at least three times in my three mile commute to work.I have my Blizzaks on now.

We have around 15cm on the ground, had to use the snowblower last week when the snow arrived. At the moment we have freezing rain coming down, everything is just one big block of ice outside now.

Hey we are practically neighbours then! I live in the same area.

We got a ton of snow here last Friday. I went outside to check and it was well over my knees and was still falling heavily.

But as Darryl said its raining and +10 now.

Gotta love living in the snow belt

Jeff,

Hey nice to see another so close by. Do you have any interest in attending our club meetings we have? We meet the last Thursday of each month in the community room at the Zehr's on Big Bay Point road and Young St in Barrie. It is a very informal group
