Hi, Well here in SW Ohio we've had our first "offical" touch of Old Man winter. And even though it's only something of a "dusting" it still looks, mighty cold out there. Down right dis-heartening to me anyway. And that slight wind isn't heleping a darn bit either! According to the weather channel on this thing it feels like 24. And the wind is suppose to be picking up come evening. The only good point I can think of is that it's -21 in Deadhorse, Alsaka, and with their wind chill there, it's something like -41!!!!!

Don't know about the rest of you, but this old child is kind of looking forward to the spring. Ha, ha!

Take care, Sgirty

They're talking snow here tomorrow, turning to rain. At least it won't be the foot's worth we got on Thanksgiving 1971. The good thing is we're staying home, except maybe a movie, so I can get some painting done.

We got a shot of snow last week-end, around 4in. Tonight we're under a blizzard watch/warning for Thanksging Day. Last night the temps it around 8 degrees. I just hope we don't have last years weather, 15-17 straight days of below -0 temps. Heck we had 8 feet in one week-end a few years back

"the fools"..... feel sorry for the oldman living alone.....
they have never seen the oldman pack away food.....

I wonder if it would be bad manners to bring along my own tupperwear?????

Oh well, don't have to cook or do dishes......
Rain, Hail, Sleet or Snow will not keep the grumpster from a free meal......

V A C A T I O N next week....... I plan on finishing up a few things then.....

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone in case I forget tomorrow.

Ordered the Blizzak's Lm 25's today for the baby benz and a nice set of aftermarket alloy SLK rims for a whole new winter look. I'll still be able to do those 150 mph sprints on my snowies should the timming and the situation be clear.

Started here yesterday and now we got about 4 inches and its still coming down. But I’m not complaining about it. As long as it lasts till Monday (1st day of deer) I’ll be happy.

But this is the 2nd real snow of the season we’ve had.

I suppose I shouldn't be gloating that we're in for another warm summer...

Only "snow" we get around here is when the guy in the cubicle next to me has a bad case of dandruff... :-)

Woke up this morning to a couple of inches of snow. I am not ready for this! Give me a couple more months of 60 degree weather.

We got about 2inches here last night.....first real snow....that stayed anyway.....we got snow last week, but it was just a dusting, and then it rained.

Supposed to rain later today...so this stuff may not last long either.

You never know....back in 1989/90 we had just moved from Winnipeg, Manitoba to Panama City, FL. Think it was new years, 32404 got about 1/2 inch of snow. City came grinding to a halt. My mother was pulled over by a sherriff's deputy and advised that she should *not* be on the roads.

The thing is, she still had her all-seasons on the car, and Manitoba plates. She pointed this out to the deputy, who just replied "huh!........uhhhhhh........okay........drive safe, ma'am"

(for those unfamiliar with winter in Winnipeg, 45" of snow and -30C are the norm.)
