Hello! My name is Courtney and i am 9 years old.
I met Mal (Holdfast) who told me i should join up at the IPMS show at Telford, which i went too with my Dad (betheyn).
I've built an Airfix 1/72 Churchill tank and some dinosaurs. This is me holding my first 1/35 tank. It is a Russian Sherman.

My Dad will help me put inprogress pics in.

A most hearty welcome to Armorama. I think it's fantastic that you're getting into the hobby. I remember how special it was for me to work with my sons (they started about your age) on models and figures. They are 25 and 22 now, but we still do an occasional model project together. My oldest son, Steve, is a really good figure painter and I'm used him to do a couple of my diorama figures. Please feel free to ask any of us about anything we can do to help here at Armorama. hi courtney! i was helping mal at the telford show on the saturday, so you might have seen me (i had wild hair from getting up late and rushing out of the house to get there!) i started modelling when i was roundabouts your age, and look at me now, still making those kits.
