I lost again. Proves the pundits on the fantasy footbal sites know nada, zip, diddly.
The pundits said Greg Jones and Tatum Bell would have big weeks against weak defenses. Sure, combined they got me six measly points. Chris Brown, who NOBODY mentioned got 23 points riding the pine. Palmer had a big day, playing the Colts, so my DST finished up at -4.
Maybe next week...
It really has been a good time. Thanks to those of you who are hanging in there.

I still have on again off again problems with ESPN at work but as of last night it looked like the two other teams that were neck and neck with us are both going to win leaving them a half game ahead of us. It's coming down to the wire.
Do you know if the leaders in the first division play the leaders in the 2nd division, or is it just the top four teams, or what?

Here we go for the big finish.

I'm a half-game ahead of Shaun and Rodger and play them both in the next two weeks. Ought to be interesting!

In the playoffs, it looks like we all continue to play, but only the two division champs and two wild cards are in the actual championship playoff brackets.

Just remember that we are a "Standard" league, not "Custom."

 Standard League (SL) Playoffs
SL Playoffs: Playoff Bracket Background
The fantasy playoffs begin in the 14th week of the NFL regular season. Round One of the playoffs takes place during the 14th and 15th weeks of the NFL regular season, while Round Two spans the two final weeks of the NFL regular season (weeks 16 and 17). In each playoff game, the team with the highest combined point total after two weeks advances. Each team will have the opportunity to change their active roster between each week (essentially "halftime" of the fantasy game) of playoff play.
All teams continue to compete throughout the playoffs. The top four teams -- two division champs and two wild card teams -- compete for the League Championship. Division champs are the teams that win the East and West divisions. The two next-best teams according to the tiebreaker below are the wild card teams. The wild card teams may come from either division. The top-ranked division champ plays the lowest-ranked wild card team.

I guess life imitates art, or is it the other way around? Most people think the AFC clearly has the best teams, while the NFC is frankly pretty poor. In our fatasy league we could come down to one of in division one being out of the playoffs while a team with a lower winning percentage goes from division two. These next few games are going to be VERY important.
Ed and I seem to be very evenly matched this week. Let the fun begin.
