Sturm,
Well you spelled armor like an American. Hmmm.... Oguinquit Maine? They are more into fishing there. And coffee-shops.

I give up.

I'm from guess where?

China, no...Tahiti, no...Bangledesh!!

Welcome to the site!! There are a lot of us who are addicted to WWII armor! I've done my share of pieces, but find the modern equipment more interesting, for the moment that is...

Feel at home, looking forward to hearing more from you and your modelling experience!!

I'm from guess where?

Hmm, my guess is Germany... Welcome to the site!
Currently, I'm gathering research on two WW II models that I have(both German halftracks). But soon I'll probably buy modern a US tank, the M1 Abrams. I've also been wanting to buy a 1/48th scale F-15 for a while.
I currently consider myself a relative newbie at serious modelbuilding (1 year), and I have glued myself to a model part more than once! :-)

OK, Sturmy.
We like a good riddle once in a while.
Let's try eliminating.
- we assume you're on this planet
- from the time of your posting, you may be in Europe or North America. (unless you posted during your night shift on an oil platform or submarine in the South China Sea...)
- If you lived on Bora-Bora you'd be basking in the sun rather than posting here
- if you lived in Tora-Bora you'd not be posting either : I heard they have problems with power supply lately
- ...

Like I said, we all like a good riddle.

AND NOW TELL US WHERE YOU'RE FROM, GOSHDARNIT !!!

(but you're welcome if you don't tell either). :-)

Jan

Sorry Jim,
(that must have been UK English instead of US English).
We had English at school, but never a word was said about "proper cursing policy".
I'm sorry to admit that Archie Bunker and Homer Simpson are my only reference on this issue...

Hello Jim and everyone;
SAS here, guess I couldn`t stay in the back wings any longer. Been readin all your comments for a better part of 2 wks now , checkin out your likes, dislikes and most of all
your want to builds! The contribution I bring is in the photo reference area, I enjoy helping
other modelers with their projects. From the interest in the M1, and I found alot, I posted a
M1 update album as well as for you modern armour guys and gals , I posted an LVTP album. For the wwII folks , and this is why I jumped in here, I was glad to hear that some of
you also build AFVs from this era, so came across a dicussion on the m29 and on the DD
Sherman. Both of those now have an album, also I updated the Jagdtiger and the Marder.
Hope these albums will help those planned projects yet to come! Oh, by the way, I`m
the guy who started the instruction sheet site on Msn that my buddy Chris Carney was talking about, so far so good with Chris and Marek`s help.
Since this thread is a where do you hail from, I reside in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Be talkin to you all soon;
russ

I don't think the question is really where our new member is from - it's actually "how do you keep a bunch of modelers in suspense?"
